Howard Wesley Field (1890-1874) was the oldest son of Keen Wesley Howard Field (1864-1957) and Mary Alice Barr (1865-1928) He was a grandson of Keen Withers Field (1817-1906) and Sarah Duncan (1824-1875) of Shelbyville, Shelby County, Illinois. Linnie Dorcas Henry (1889-1979) was a daughter of a Clark Henry (1850-1925) and Nancy Jane Long (1859-1924). Howard was born in Shelbyville, Illinois and Linnie was born in Sego, Reno County, Kansas. Sometime before 1905 Howard's father, Keen, moved from Shelbyville, Illinois to Reno County, Kansas. Howard and Linnie were married 23 February 1910 in Sego, Kansas. Howard and Linnie's first two children, Raymond (1910-1978) and Ronald (1912-1965) were both born in Kansas. In 1913 several of Linnie's siblings decided they would move to Moose Jaw, Canada. With spouses and children, and one unmarried brother, Ora, 18 people in all, they moved into a two story house on the plains of Saskatchewan. After a year the group moved into Montana. The family slowly broke up moving to different areas in Montana. Both Howard and Linnie died in Whitefish, Flathead County, Montana and are buried in the Whitefish Cemetery, Whitefish, Montana.
